Trades the Mavs should really do & benefits all teams in a realistic way. The first trade allows Mavs to be done with the KP trade & opens up 2025 1st & 2nd round picks. With these trades now they have 2025 1st so next 2 drafts get young guys to develop behind proven starters. Both Randle & Turner only have 2 & 3 years left & it won’t allow a Kyrie walking or S&T to effect the core you have now with Luka, Randle & Turner only would add to it.
Bertans, Bullock, Green + 10th pick for Julius Randle
THJ + 2025 2nd + 2027 1st for Miles Turner
Is this the stupidest organization in the league? Mark Cuban should fire himself and sell the team. You trade away all your role players that helped you get to the Conference finals, just to get a guy who was desperate to go anywhere just to get out of his current situation, only for him to leave your ass after half a season on an ending contract, leaving you with nothing. You basically gave Brooklyn free players and future draft picks. Kyrie doesn't have to do a sign and trade. He's a FA! Besides that, nobody is going to give much for him anyway. Certainly not the draft picks you gave up to get him. This is like equivalent to a loser guy going out with girl that's way out of his league because she's just looking for a rebound, you move her in, buy her a car, jewelry, shoes, and then you wake up and she's deserted you. What an f'n moron Cuban is! A total loser!
I legitimately do not understand why people don't wanna give Kyrie a 4 year deal. Another team will take him in 2 years if he's a problem. We literally just showed that and we weren't the only team trying to get him. Someone will gamble on his talent if he decides he doesn't wanna be here. I get wanting some bargaining position with him but this seems way overblown
The Capela trade would be awesome for the Mavs to get that legit big man, and still be able to draft a young player at 15 or move it in another trade for a veteran wing defender. Also, getting Holmes would be a good deal.
