This coach needs to get humbled

  2. This dude spends more time reading headlines than game planning

  3. WhatTheRickIsDoin

Bro, their entire gimmick in the arena for opposing teams is shouting everywhere saying HIGH ALTITUDE, YOU MIGHT BE DYING IF YOU’RE OUT OF BREATH

  4. leastbiasednbafan

Nahhh they were just the better team tonight that have nothing to do with the altitude

  5. JovialCarrot

Jesus Christ Malone is more obsessed with what the media narratives are than any coach in the history of sports

  6. rNBAMods3InchesHard

Time to change all the “5280” signs to “acclimated”

Also shoutout Denver for making sure 2 million nephews on r/nba never forget how many feet are in a mile

  7. HoopsHistoryGuy

Acshually its been 5 days with 2 games 🤓 after a 7 game series

  8. MucusShotSwaGGins

Address him as Mike Malone until game 3.

  9. MinnyPuppies

Malone hasn’t heard of Miami’s strippers. Better than altitude.

Really liked Malone as a coach until this playoffs. Dude’s favorite past time is to watch Stephen A and Skip Bayless talk about his team and keeping receipts when the narrative is against him

  11. Funny-Transition7869

Dude got giftwrapped a championship and he’s still making excuses

  12. Victor_Wembanyama1

Dude’s trying so hard to control narrative it’s driving me insane

  13. Malimanz

I feel like Malone watches Get Up on ESPN just look for something to whine about

    that’s not how altitude works

It takes months to fully acclimate. This is HEAT winning despite altitude, not that they overcame it

UFC fighters routinely go to the arena’s hometown weeks before the actual fight, and they STILL gas out. Fights are noticeably lower quality in places like Utah or Denver

Notice how Denver has 80%+ winrate at home this season and go negative on the road (34-7 home, 19-22 road). For basketball in particular, even more so than football, baseball, etc, it’s statistically shown that Altitude is a huge factor year after year. Cardio is extremely relevant in basketball compared to basically any other sport. Denver Nuggets has the biggest home court advantage in all of sports, and it’s backed up by yearly data. So yes, altitude is a worthwhile talking point.

Were the Heat acclimated? Caleb Martin literally got benched cause he’s struggling with altitude sickness.

Malone is starting to sound like one of those old angry white men that rant about everything and think they’re keeping it real.

  17. felixng2015

Mike malone is not a good coach. He is lucky he has jokic on his team.

  18. effkaysup

The nuggets sub really adopted the whining bitch victim narrative complex this coach is all about

  19. tuinktuink

Nugget has a much better team. But spo outcoachs the fuck out of him

  20. elfridpaytonshair

I want the heat to win solely because of this guy 😂 he’s so annoying

  21. thehugster

Spoelstra’s played 10 players significant minutes both games in Denver. Granted Zeller and Highsmith played 12 min combined per game. He played 8 players in game 7 at Boston.

  22. DirkNorizzki

Pat Riley got them on a strict regimen. Heat are probably one of the few teams best equipped to withstand Denver’s higher altitude.

  23. fakeacclul

If there’s anyone I don’t want to win on the nuggets its this fucking guy
