Difference between Amen and Scoot vertical jump in their Blazers workout

Worth noting that the equipment is adjusted depending on the standing reach of a prospect.

For those who wants to compare both guys to another top athlete in Whitmore, check this:

Looks like Amen and Whitmore are neck-and-neck in terms of the best athlete in the lottery.

edit:

Whitmore recorded 40.5 max vert leap at the combine so it’s safe to say Amen is around that ballpark as well. Scoot looks to fall short a bit so his max vert is around 34-36 IMO

If I remember correctly, the shot of Scoot came from a video and it was not a standing vertical, while Amen’s was a still shot and so the context was not clear.

  2. Scoots arms looks a little bent, which might mean he’s not at the apex of his jump yet. Or maybe not. Either way, I wouldn’t put too much weight in singular photos.
