The 6’6” French wing is the current teammate of Victor Wembanyama, and is currently playing a crucial role in leading their team to the French Pro A finals. He is a tough, versatile defender with an improving outside shot, that has started to show some signs of self-creation. It is reported that he has a 7’3” wingspan. Coulibaly is shooting up draft boards now, and has been linked to the Thunder at 12 and Raptors at 13. If this guy isn’t a prototype of Weltman/Hammond, then I don’t know who is.

He’s not making it to the 2nd .
He’s a project, only 18 but damn…he’s definitely tantalizing. He looks legit. But I thought the same thing about Mo Bamba and RJ Hampton pre-draft, so don’t take my word for it.
I never will understand the NBA’s obsession with foreign players that are not actually good in their current league.
He is a guy that doesn’t shoot well, pass well, create his own shots, does not rebound particularly well and has just as many assists as turnovers. Oh, and his FT% is stinky too.
I guess it’s simply the tired trope of ‘young’ plus ‘occasionally flashy’ that just melts people’s ability to apply logic.
If any of Hendricks, Wallace, Dick, or Bufkin are on the board at #11 and we take Coulibaly, then I would check Welt/Ham for cordyceps brain rot.
He was reportedly given a draft promise from a team before New Orleans (who have the #14 pick)
Hopefully a bidding war will start between Thunder,Raptors, Spurs and the Magic can make out like bandits!
