  1. Man idc just hire someone already. None of us are qualified enough to give an opinion.

  2. gamblewizard98

My bet is they’re dragging this out so long because they want a second interview with either Quinn or Adelman, but have to wait for the finals to end.

Lmao yah this is just getting ridiculous. No idea who to believe anymore. Gonna stop obsessing over this personally. Just give us an answer lol

    So it’s Sergio then

Reminder: When this whole coach search began, there was a report that “The Raptors have a certain coach in mind”

Sergio’s contract expires this year if I recall, he’s previously worked with much of this core and often credited for some of the more creative plays on offense we saw prior to him going back overseas so it seems more likely than not it’s him taking over

someone ping Doc’s phone to see where he at

  6. Cheechers23

Jordi would have been a coach for a rebuild.

Fuck we’re really gonna run it back aren’t we

  7. chrisPjelly

Jordi 😢. So I guess some journalists got their wires crossed when it came to finalists, cause it would make no sense how someone who didn’t get a 2nd interview got through to that round.

  8. people are freaking out about this like we have any idea who the best candidate is. they watched one interview with the guy and were like “he’s the one” lol

  9. Denisaur9

Masai is clearly waiting for the Reddit strike between June 12-14 to make a decision so we can’t talk about it for a couple days.

It’s because they’re waiting for Eric Spoelstra to be fired. Masai being ambitious

  12. TinnieTa21

Hoping Steve would hop on as a lead assistant or something. Could definitely help mold the next young PG.

  13. shiftydnm

Who do I think is more reputable Doug or Marc Stein🤔

  14. Basteeds

Nash is just there cause he is Canadian lol

  15. AlexRescueDotCom

What is the longest time that a NBA team was without a coach?

  16. Seems like they are waiting for Sergio, but if he’s such a lock why would they go forward with the formality of a second interview at this point?

Maybe this suggests one of Quinn or Adelman could be the other mystery candidate they want to get one more interview with.

    The Toronto Raptor’s new anthem:

Status quo! Status quo! when things aren’t working, do the same things in slightly different way, and don’t make big changes because that would make too much sense…

Status quo! Status quo! Why bring in a new fresh face when you could hire a 62-year-old man who you didn’t hire 5 years ago when you had the opportunity, and then you hired Nick Nurse instead but now you’re going to hire him…

Status quo! Status quo! why re-tool and bring in players who can win a championship when you could be delusional and stick with the exact same group for another season, even though it’s clearly not working and everyone can see it except for the front office…

    Status quo!

Read the article, man literally said they can easily just go back and talk to them, doesn’t mean they are completely out of the running

  19. Chris_TO79

Ah nuts, I was kinda hoping Nash would be a darkhorse. Maybe he’ll be an assistant (if he wants)

  21. Shogun_Ro

Damn, we’re gonna hire an old coach and run it back with the same core aren’t we? Smdh

  22. Novel_Goal3140

I’m going to laugh so hard when they announce it’s Doc Rivers.

  23. millionairebif

Why would anyone hire Steve Nash as an NBA head coach. Nothing against Steve Nash as a player/person but the Nets got much better the day he left.
