If I'm masai I'm taking dlo in a heart beat over tobi with dlo u get abit younger he's been looking like the better shooter and more efficient scorer for the most part as of late compared to fred and with dlo he would be the better and easier fit at what would be an otherwise relatively vacant starting pg spot assuming Cason doesn't seriously thrive if they can get him.
@jjbucket there is a better option, sign and trade fred vanvleet to heat for kyle lowry and 18th pick. kyle lowry is a serviceable pg and good in the locker room and good for culture and only on books for 1 season.

VanVleet is trash! Worst defender and iso ball shooter. LOL.. they will regret signing him. Raptors better off with out him.
Only a casual fan that doesn't watch any Raptors games or still living on BumVleets pass still believes BumVleet is actually still good. His numbers across the board has gone down.. not to mention his selfish hero ball chucking low IQ plays cost the Raps plenty of close games.
I would much rather let BumVleet walk for nothing than to trade BumVleet to LA just to take on another horrible player like D Lo.

Toronto is never going for Russel from LAL and PHI is not letting go of Maxey go for FVV. Toronto will definitely try their best to retain Fred cause sign-and-trades are never the best for us. Kyle gave us an up-and-down prospect in Precious and Goran that tuened into the Thad debacle.
IMO… Masai is going to overpay on the backend just to retain an asset. First yr slary of about 24-26MM and last rear salary of 31-33MM for a total of 110-120MM. Steep price to pay but them's the facts.
