the mavericks would be better to either try to add him at the deadline or next offseason. the appeal for bron would be he can be the third option and coast most of the season. he’s seen what luka can do in the playoffs by carrying a huge offensive load. he knows kyrie can come up clutch and wont shrink similar to davis. so at 39 bron might accept a mid-level to join irving and luka and make a run for 1-2 more titles.
