Nets will match for any reasonable price. You’ll have to overpay for him.

How about giving him an offer sheet of 4 years 110 million? Maybe declining so that they have a bigger hit when Ben Simmons is on the books?
If they do match, it clogs up their salary cap more so that they aren’t as flexible to become better, which makes our Nets picks better.
If they don’t match, we have a solid player (albeit an overpay) and we have the cap space to waste when everyone else is on rookie deals. They lose a productive player.
Edit: Basically, potentially (only potentially) sacrificing 7 million of our cap each year (vs a comparable player) to make our Nets picks better.
