This team would have beaten LA if Yao was not suddenly pulled from the court at halftime of game 5 and shut down for the season, my guess is the league was terrified the golden boy lakers would lose, just like they were terrified in 2017 that the Warriors would lose game 7, and proceded to allowe them to foul the Rockets on 27 straight 3 point attempts and wave off the one that went in.
