For a decade plus, the need for shooting has been a recurring theme for the Orlando Magic during draft time. They haven’t addressed it in the first round, instead opting for lengthy 2-way players with questionable shooting. However, with two first round picks and in a draft with an abundance of elite shooting talent, it would be a huge missed opportunity if the Magic opted to not draft one of them. That’s why in this video, I’ll break down the games of two of the highest rated shooters of the 2023 NBA Draft- Jordan Hawkins and Gradey Dick, in order to find who will be the better fit for the Magic. I’ll also talk about the rest of the shooting talent in the draft like Jett Howard, Brice Sensabaugh, Julian Strawther and Dariq Whitehead.

Maxwell Lewis should be the pick he makes all the criteria u mention.. Two way potential good all around player..
The magic should draft gradey at 6th
Knowing how Weltman and Hammond like to draft, don't be shocked if we take Hendricks and Bufkin. Not my preferred choices but I honestly wouldn't be surprised.
If we can't get Cam at #6 then we take Gradey there and best available shooter/rim protector at #11. If we can get Cam at #6, then I hope for Gradey at #11. I love watching Hawkins play though, that constant movement is insane but like you said I just dont think it quite fits this team so I would probably say Jett if Gradey is gone at #11 or maybe Hendricks/Lively. A lot of great role players in this draft makes it kinda fun even though there aren't many true alpha #1's. Great year to fill out your roster.

I think ORL should. He is nice additional shooter. Thats what they need paying $13 mill to Gary Harris I d k if thats the answer when you can go from $13 to $5-6 million a year. Were adding growth now for future later. Its an investment defffff. Your talking about one season left at best in Gary Harris. Vet to show him the ropes. Then move on. Vets are needed, but ehhh….hes a role player. Like KeVon Harris in his place instead.
