That would have been the dynasty extender for sure.

Hindsight 2023 Halliburton and Brock would be best buddies. Only player I wanted to draft in that class who had less question marks.

Absolute fumble taking Wise at #2. So depressing

Timberwolves had two chances to pick Steph. Who cares

Hindsight is 20/20. I do think recent drafts have proved a lesson about ” win now players”. Sometimes these guys have higher ceilings than we give them credit for and they already have skill sets that will translate to the NBA and prevent them from being complete busts.
Just some players that come to mind that were thrown around: Devin Vassel, Franz Wagner, Deni Avdija, Tyrese Haliburton, Davion Mitchell, Desmond Bane, and Trey Murphy. All these guys were viewed as not having the highest ceiling but were high IQ players that committed on defense and had skillsets that would immediately translate to the NBA.

Lmao the Ronaldo fan account tweet below it saying “we” as if they did anything

hindsight being 20/20 I like to have haliburton or bane. Both are great players now. They may have had less minutes to develop with us. Interesting to think about what could have been. Past is past, no need to dwell on it too much
Oh_no_bros
It would be nice but no team would have been taking Halliburton at 2 at the time.

Having him on the team would’ve made the 2 timeline plan successful.

Just goes to show how important the draft is
You miss in the draft and it can derail your team for years

Lots of teams passed on Haliburton. That said, Kerr did say he wanted him. 🙁

Ya in hindsight, it would’ve been great taking Hali. Imagine the last 2 seasons if we had him as a backup PG instead of Chiozza and Ty.
But if he was our bench player, he would not have developed nearly as fast as he has being a starter. That’s the problem with taking big projects on a win now / contending team. They’re not going to develop as quickly as we need them to. Not saying he was a big project necessarily. Just speaking in general.

He was such a perfect fit for this team, I’m still pissed we didn’t take him.

That draft class just sucked in general. So in hindsight I’m not that pissed off the Warriors missed on Wiseman. They swung for the fences and missed. I can live with it considering their the team’s success for the past several years. But if there was one player I do think, it’s Halliburton. He would have been great.

i can see the logic behind drafting wise, kuminga, and moody.
Imagine the warriors took the absolute best players in the slots that wiseman, kuminga, and moody were drafted in.
We are probably looking at Haliburton, Franz, and Trey Murphy.
After Steph, Klay, and Dray retire, is a team built around those 3 winning a title? I have a tough time seeing that.
The warriors went with high ceiling guys for the chance at getting an all-nba first team-type guy so they can extend the window when the big 3 are gone.
