It's okay. He doesn't mind that the media has forgotten him. His humility has to do with our religion, culture and manner of upbringing. Almost all of our guys on the national basketball team are like him. Regular, normal guys. They're basketball players, they're not clowns in a cricus. It's about a different mind set, cultural differences. He doesn't mind.

I dont get the whole misogyny angle with the wnba. Most of us fans wanna watch the best of the best. Women arent dunking, they arent driving into the chest of a rim protector and finishing through contact, its just not the same intensity level. Thats not misogyny its just a fact. Same reason people dont watch semi pro games or pistons-rockets. The biggest problem to me is that there arent enough female fans. I dont get why the burden of raising womens sports up falls on men but nobody expects women to support them or makes an effort to draw them in. Bill burr said it best, we gave women a league and women arent supporting it or making it profitable. Thats not mens fault
There media overload now. I’m numb to all the coverage. I just listen for entertainment value only. Don’t really take anyone seriously until after the jump ball and they are calling the game or analyzing the game. Doris is the best in breaking down the game. No one better than her.

As I fan this has frustrated me for years being a Blazers fan. The Lakers and Celtics would get all the coverage , all the attention, ALL THE CALLS!!! And it drove me nuts. My Laker fan friends thought I was crazy. And I told them back 2002 that games were fixed to favor big market teams. Now evidence had surfaced to support that. There's even evidence of the draft being rigged back in the day. Where the league wanted the Knicks or other big markets to get the top draft picks. That's why I can appreciate when teams like Spurs or Rockets or Nuggets or Bulls with MJ come along

Well so much for the question about NBA and the small market teams all you guys did is talk about women sports… I'm a woman and I don't even enjoy watching women's basketball. You need to get people like Steven A and that spastic guy that yells all the time mad dog off the air those kind of personalities just ruin sports announcing and sports media.

I generally enjoy Doris . However, to compare lack of Jokic coverage, who is one of the best players in the world, to women’s basketball, when the best players can’t even compete with the top high school boys, is disingenuous. People watch to see excellence.

Also up to this day, This podcast never invited a Spurs player while he is still in the Spurs roster. Derrick White, Patty Mills and Demar Derozan got invited AFTER they parted ways with the Spurs. Please invite guys on the Spurs if you really want to address this issue on the media. Jeremy Sochan maybe is the most interesting currently. Keldon Johnson who is a 29th overall pick that made team USA. Maybe Zach Collins’ revitalized career could be interesting.
