This is more because we had no back up centers for years.

If Joel is anywhere in the top 10 on a playoff list, that list is meaningless
TheGreenLandEffect
Ngl that is a crazy stat for a guy who has never made it past the 2nd round.
Shows how terrible our roster construction has been for his whole career basically

Embiid is a frontrunner. When things are going well, hes unstoppable. When they go poorly, he shrinks. Same goes for the playoffs. Problem is those bad games are when you need your star to step up the most and carry you. He has never done that against a good team in the playoffs. Closest he ever got was against that weak Toronto team last season.

Embiid isn’t a playoff riser but it’s crazy that people will say players like Tatum who’ve had everything go perfectly for them are much better. Combine this with the fact that he’s been injured pretty much every playoff series he’s been in and it’s just much more insane

Literally the only one without a ring on that list.

It’s not that crazy- we’ve gone 7 games at least 3 times and crushed in the first round a couple times. This is why we watch the games, evaluating things ‘unweighted’ doesn’t always tell the story.
