  1. Joker is awesome and one of a kind. That being said, 2 months ago, MANY in the media had Embiid as the better of the two. I think that debate is pretty much over but let’s get real here. The media gets so drunk so quick on guys. As great as he is, he’s not Kareem, Russel or Wilt yet. Those guys obliterated the NBA for decades each and have three rings or more minimally. In time he could be that guy but for now you have to be kidding

  2. It's embarrassing to have this conversation about a guy with one ring, who is as maudlin on defense as he is, in a league with the bigs so de-emphasized. He's a very good player, with a long run, and a lot of rings, to go before the notion of him being the best big in NBA history is not completely laughable.

  3. Why is no one mentioning Tim Duncan? Statistically I understand not as high as Jokic, but IMO Jokic is a modern day Tim Duncan. Not flashy, but really hard to stop and solid fundamentals, now a champion and potential dynasty.

  4. Souns about WITE 🤷🏿‍♂️ da caveman dem allways tryna enject demselves into da KULCHA 🤷🏿‍♂️

  5. Here's my Top 10 Greatest centers of all time:
    No.1 – Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
    No.2 – Hakeem Olajuwon
    No.3 – Shaquille O'Neal
    No.4 – Wilt Chamberlain
    No.5 – Bill Russell
    No.6 – David Robinson
    No.7 – Moses Malone
    No.8 – Nikola Jokić
    No.9 – Patrick Ewing
    No.10 – Dwight Howard

  6. I swear the media does this on purpose especially espn😂 they claim “is jokic the best big man in history “ just to give him hate

  7. I don’t understand this who did Jokic go against? Excluding Embiid who didn’t Jokic face? Gobert, Davis and Bam are all meant to be elite defensive centres, Ayton wasn’t considered half bad either, he didn’t come up against Embiid and ig you can say Giannis even tho he isn’t a centre, I find this notion ridiculous

  8. He is the best passing big man in history. However Kareems a better scorer and Hakeem and Bill russel are way better defender. So stop all these annoying takes and appreciate his greatness

  9. Great point by JJ these two pre much only team that doesn’t instantly sack players and coaches over nothing lol

  10. Ever since JJ came on with take SAS started sounding shallow with his analysis and takes.

  11. The only way to really settle this is if Jokic and Shaq went head to head in their prime. They would not be able to stop eachother defensively actually, butnI think Shaq would rough Jokic up in physicality.

  12. It's hilarious listening J.J. Redick schooling these old parrots straight basketball facts. How insane it is listening 20+ experience reporters denying the greatest MVP performance of all time with the most stupid arguments ever.

  13. Jokic averaged 30/14/7 in his first NBA finals. Shaq in his first finals in year 3 averaged 28/13/6. His first championship Shaq averaged 38/17/2. Kareem's first championship, 27/19/3. Hakeem's two championship finals he averaged a combined 30/10/5 going against Ewing and then Shaq. Let's pump the brakes on Best Big Man in NBA history talk.

  14. As a Mavs fan, I'm happy with this one. Denver was the best team from start to finish. They deserved it this season. Back to paying attention to my mavs strictly again lol.

  15. Y'all need to stop man. I'm not saying yes or no but 1 championship and we asking is he the best center ever. Guys stop it. He might be one day but today is not that day.

  16. Shaq just has the size and 90 percent was dunks but that's all Joker can dunk and shoot the 3 better free thrower and passing ability iq unselfish Shaq was selfish even with Kobe jokers better

  17. The 86 Celtics, the 85 Lakers, the 83 Sixers and several Bulls team would sweep this Denver team.. Doggie is right, good team but nothing special. I have to laugh when they talk about dominance and they don't mention Wilt, the most dominant player that ever lived.

  18. Not a Jimmy hater, but I do hate Skip and the pandering Mad Dog who's no longer mad. Jokic had the best "big man" post season ever. Nuggets look almost totally inept at running an offense when he's not on the floor. Jokic is amazing in his play and humility, deferring to teammates almost to a fault.

  19. I like how Skip Bayless always just brings up new teams in the 70s and 80s. Is no one going to give the 276 BC Athenians?? The disrespect.

  20. Lmao. We can't compare Lebron to MJ till he gets 6 rings… now we are conveniently talking abt Jokic being the best big man after he had 1 good (not even historic) season. Shaq, Kareem, Wilt carried team to titles. Jokic was the best player in a good team. With 1 ring JJ is OK with him being the best big man.
Where is Perks when I need him?

  21. Out of 32 shows that ESPN has viewership data on, First Take ranks 18th overall. Debates like the one above is just one reason nobody wants to watch this show anymore!

  22. Well deserved win for the nuggets but come on man stop all this GOAT nonsense. Historic finals run?, they beat 2 8 seeds, a 7th seed and a suns team that didn’t have much time together… stop the cap plz.
