@Houston Rockets

What do y’all think about this?

I think it would be cool if it was possible but Zion just has too much off the court distractions and his injury history scares me. We need someone who’s going to be available and committed 100 percent.

No. It won’t happen anyway but I’d rather have Ingram. Zion has very serious injury issues, plus he seems to not take his situation very seriously.

  2. conker1264

He’s never gonna pan out. Always injured and doesn’t seem interested in basketball

  3. Thebiggest6200

They just making stuff up. Get the draft over with!!

  4. AdmirableRise3758

Would consider if the bbq here wasnt so damn good

  5. AstronomerDramatic36

I don’t think Zion will ever pan out, but I’d heavily consider taking a flyer on him. Unless you’re in love with who is available, it’s probably worth the chance anyway.

  6. Additional-Debate-18

At this rate – the no. 4 pick will be used to get Nikola Jokic – too many hypoteticals

  7. seclusionx

Ignoring his injury history and potentially his lack of work ethic, I’ve been following the Twitter drama around this guy. He seems like an absolute dumbass.

  8. inshamblesx

Stone should be fired on the spot if he says yes to that lol

  9. antiform_prime

Well I’m sure the strip club scene would be happy to have such a big spender in town.

  10. Depends on what else we’d have to give up.

Upside is worth the risk imo.

  11. BeefTenderloinz

Okay let’s pretend this is real. Yes, I would take the risk. You’re basically saying would you rather have Amen + KJ (just guessing and continuing to make stuff up) than a chance at Zion.

If the odds are 50/50 that he is a 25ppg/10rpg guy for 5 years, id roll those thicc dice

  12. lambopanda

Report: Rockets could explore “insert any name” trade involving No. 4 pick.

  13. RocketsBG

When he plays it’s spectacular, but… The guy has 114 games in 4 years. I can see the Pelicans moving away from him, because he just doesn’t play and he has a massive contract. Man if he’s healthy I would love to see him in a Rockets jersey.

  14. 2nd2last

If we get Harden, Zion is a must.

Harden will see how strippers and weight gain negatively effect people and will become fit and religious.

  15. KDs_FakeAccount

Houston has too many baddies for the Sex Addict Zion 😂

  16. Thorlolita

Zion would be a great fit if he can fit in his uniform. He’s been in the league 4 years and has a total of 114 games played. Don’t want to trade 4 for that.

  17. there is no way the number 4 pick warrants Zion. Wheter u like it or not, Zion has goat like potential; if Zion just wanted to play and stopped going to mcdonalds eachs day, he would be in the same tier as Luka and giannis

  18. montrezlharrel

I get all the red flags, but this guy is a generational talent. If the trade is really just for #4 and no other core pieces you have to take this swing. A healthy, engaged Zion is a top 10, potentially top 5 player in the league – no one else on this roster or to be picked at #4 has that upside

  19. Calm-Cry4253

Seems like just a suggestion pulled out of thin air

  20. TipT0pMag00

As Charles Barkley always says: “They got some big ole women down there (Texas). They all eatin’ BBQ and churros”.

Given Zion’s well documented proclivities (large women and too much food) you really want that dude in Texas?!

  21. SuperElection3215

They can’t get worse, so what’s there to lose?

  22. mob16151

I’d do that trade in a heartbeat. Dude is still only 22 years old. And Wenbayana is really the only dude I’ve seen in a draft with more talent than Zion, since his draft year. At the end of the day,no one available at 4 has anywhere near Zions potential.

Does this trade potentially blow up in a teams face? Yes it could, but if you do trade for him, your betting on your coaching staff being able to unlock his potential. And I actually think Coach Ime might be the a good fit with Zion.

  23. Due_Junket3340

I wouldn’t answer for Zion but Ingram on the other hand…I’d love that fr😂. But either way I doubt we trade the pick

  24. Epic_erka

If you want to pay someone to sit on the sidelines and shove burgers into their mouth, I’m available for a fraction of that cost.

  25. F33lsogood

Rockets are exploring Mars, source say, I’ll. Looking at a 8.5 ft green skinned with a 13 ft reach for Daishen Nix.

  26. 100tByamba

No! he’s not viable guys come on he’s on his what? 3rd/4th year on the NBA and wasn’t being able to play HALF the matches. Why do u think Pelicans are starting to think about trading him? He’s not viable. That’s just fax. Having zion would just be see him on Houton Rockets tracksuit every day while shaking hands with everybody.

  27. Caesar21Octavoian

From a talent standpoint I’d trade a lot for him but he neither has the mentality nor the health so no thank you

  28. ToddPolt

How many pornstars with BBL live in Houston? Asking for a friend.

  29. imturningjapanese

Just no. Zion’s career will fizzle out and he’ll end up broke. If he proves me wrong, then more power to him, but he hasn’t shown me anything that indicates this won’t be the case.

  30. i-race-goats

Pelicans: “hey, we might be interested in a trade involving Zion for the 2nd or 3rd pick to get Scoot”

Rockets bloggers: “wow we have the 4th pick and could get Zion!”

Pelicans: “what? no, we want Scoot”

  31. theArtistWrites

This dude is big but fragile
Only plays 20% of the league

  32. Regular-Opening-2545

Fuck off with all this bullshit. Can’t wait until this draft and off season are over.

  33. Odds of Zion coming back and even being 75% are way better than 4th pick in 95% of cases.

  34. juan_cena99

How far the mighty have fallen. Zion was the next Lebron just a few years ago, now he is a deadweight contract and on borrowed time.

  35. Chaps_and_salsa

Nah, I’m good without Bonzi Wells 2.0

  36. hey_yo_mr_white

No one is going to be available and committed 100%. I’m on the fence about his commitment. And I think I just saw that he’s missed 60% of the games in his NBA career so far.

  37. Additional-Ad4110

No. Zions highlight clips are 2 years old and all that talk with no walk. He’s the most frustrating talent I’ve ever seen. He keeps lowering the bar for what a superstar is, and I don’t think I can handle that watching my Rockets.
