Not my idea. Buddy of mine brought this up just wanted to gauge your guys interest. Would help the sixers clear cap space and would get us a solid vet for one season to help mentor our young guys + get a future first. Don’t think we need anymore rookies after pick #4.

Im sure I’ll get met with tObiAs hArRiS¿?! But I think he would be a good fit. I understand tari and kmj would have to come off the bench if this happened but I think I would do it.

He’s got one year left on his deal so it wouldn’t screw us long term and he could use a change of scenery.

If the pick was top 2 or maybe even top 3 protected I’d consider it because who the fuck knows what’s going to be happening in ‘29. I like Tobias. I think people think about him so negatively because of the contract.

I actually really like this. I think the smart thing to do is to try and take on short term, 1-2 year deals which gives this team two things: vets and long term flexibility.

This free agency class is really only good for role players. It’d be smart to push the spending back a year, rebuild league wide credibility by competing hard with some short term vet help, than go after bigger fish next season or the year after that.

Harris fills a role we need. Starting 3 that can shoot. I don’t think Philly would do this exact deal but I like the concept.

Not a bad one, but these are probably the type of deals Stone would be seeking only after he struck out in FA market, which would not fit 76er needs if their intent is to create cap space for FA signing.

The Celtics gave up a first to okc to get rid of Horford. They later on gave up a first (which I believe was the 16th pick that ended up being Sengun via trade) to get rid of Kemba and reaquire horford. OKC did not give up a first either time and neither should we to take on that albatross of a contract. If they want to give up a first with nothing in return that would be one thing, but I still wouldn’t be crazy about it because we are ready to attempt at competing and 40 million to Tobias is not going to help this team in any way, shape, or form.

  6. Not bad, only thing is I wouldn’t send back any assets to Philly at all. He’s 31, had his worst season since his Orlando days, and he’s getting paid $40 mil next season

Not to mention under the assumption Harden returns to Philly, we’d be doing them a huge favour by allowing them the cap space to sign an all star level talent like FVV, or Khris Middleton.
