Miami plus Beal and a guy like Poetl and giving up very little, looks a LOT better what they would have to give up to get Dame, which is prolly Vincent or Martin, plus 2 of Robinson / Strus / Herro, plus picks? If CP3 takes a backup role he will want to be on a team that has stars capable of going to the Finals. For the Suns KD/Booker are not capable of making a title run imo, neither are the Lakers, and no team in the west are good enough to beat the nuggets. Imo CP3 goes east and signs the vet min with the Celtics.
I think the way Embiid played in game 7 against the Celtics shows he has pressure to at least make it to the finals. That being said the Celtics as a team has the pressure to win a NBA championship because they are so close, but their team is not going to be together for very long.

I disagree on Embiid being that next guy with pressure to win. In fact, with equal teams, I expect Luka to go further and win before Embiid. KD maybe before he retires, but I'm leaning Luka. I'm getting the feeling that Embiid will never win (as that guy).
