Extremely curious about the timeline of a potential deal. Do we try and pull the trigger before the draft to get an additional 1st rounder, or wait and see how FA shakes out and try to partner with a desperate contender?

    Times are changing in DC

My early guess is the Knicks or Lakers. Knicks have already tried to trade for Donovan Mitchell and Lavine, so we know they want a SG and don’t care if he’s expensive.

As long as the Lakers have LeBron they will make win-now moves.

Both of these teams are money-printing franchises that can stomach Beal’s contract, and both have nearly as bad contracts they’d be willing to ship out to make salaries match.

I could also see Beal waiving his NTC to play for the Lakers or Knicks. I don’t see him waiving his NTC to play for Minnesota or Memphis (no offense).

This is saddening to me, I know there really wasn’t a likelihood of brad leading us to the title but damn was hoping it would end on a better note. Wish you the best Bradley Beal, one of the greatest wizards of all time.

Miami is the lead contender it seems, (idk if woj covered it, but the athletic said it just now). So a likely herro for beal package incoming.

  5. Here we go yo! Here we go yo! So what so what so what’s the Scenario?!!

It’s sad the fanbase has gone to dislike Beal, but we realistically should’ve moved on from the dude years ago (thanks Ernie/Tommy). Hopefully a trade happens that works for both parties.

  7. end of an era. hope Brad goes somewhere good and competes for a title

Bro first Snyder sells and now it’s basically like Leonsis finally came to his senses and became a good owner 🙏 DC is coming baby

  9. Wow, it’s actually happening… can’t believe it. I’m gonna miss Brad though, sucks it had to go this route but it’s necessary

Less than 200 points away from the franchise record too!

Damn! I thought for sure that the new ownership would it run it back and go to the trade deadline before making any big moves. Not necessarily complaining, just surprised. Should be an interesting off-season

I’m really going to be rooting for Brad wherever he ends up for sure. This is best for both of us but will always treasure the memories he brought here. The contract def caused a rift between the fanbase and him but he always stayed a pro. Excited to see the future for him and especially my squaddddd.

Really want to see Brad go somewhere he can compete, it’ll be great to see him play for a team that maximizes his talent and gives him the opportunity to play on a big stage. Regardless of where he ends up I’ll be pulling for him.

oh yall came back for this lol. I love it.

It was bound to happen, I’ll be fine with him leaving for a good deal as long as it’s not with Philly. Lived there for the past 6 years and got sooo tired of their fans hoping to land Beal every season, that franchise does not deserve him.

I’ll believe it when it happens. And by it, I mean a trade, not they are trying to trade. A contract of Beal’s size is surely a nightmare to structure deals around.

Love Beal but if Winger and company is the direction the franchise is going, so be it.
