The landscape of the NBA is going to drastically change when the new Collective Bargaining Agreement goes into effect on July 1st. It’s one of the biggest factors to consider when discuss whether or not it’s time the Magic should trade for a superstar.

Before the episode starts no beal
Y’all the best GO MAGIC !!!
No Beal
No Beal…. Easily
Fast forward the video to 15 minutes because that’s when they start talking about Orlando Magic oh my God I was going crazy. They were talking about Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets. I was about to throw up waiting for some Orlando Magic discussions about a draft and what we’re about to do about rumors about different things. Please speed the video up 15 minutes so you don’t waste your time if you come here to hear about Orlando Magic basketball only.
Certainly great to see a smaller market team win, and a team built the right way instead of just stealing stars from elsewhere. This is exactly what the Magic need to emulate and I think we’re off to a good start.
I'm a big fan of Beal. The question is, what the Magic has to give to get him.
Cole or Suggs, Chuma, Bol, & the 11th pick for Beal. Wouldn’t do anything more.
In regards to the roster:
– Fultz is a lock
– Cole is a lock
– move on from Schofield
– extend Bol for cheap
– Decline Gary Harris. Re-sign him on a friendlier 2+1 year deal at around 8-10 mil a year. He likes Orlando and these guys enough to negotiate unless he really thinks he can crack a rotation on a contender in a meaningful capacity (like the Bucks, Heat, Warriors, or Sixers).
For the Draft:
Priorities at #6:
– TAYLOR HENDRICKS (All-Around Stud, incredible motor)
– JARACE WALKER (Defensive versatility and ancillary scoring upside)
– CAM WHITMORE (Best Offensive Wing Option, still solid on defense, but the smallest wing listed here)
At #11:
– GRADEY DICK (please god, I want him in Orlando BADLY just like I wanted Isaac, Cole, and Paolo. He’s a Jeff guy. HIGH IQ. Motor. Length. Great shooter, and tons of offensive upside on & off the ball).
– CASON WALLACE (personally think he’s more of a Miami Heat kind of player, but he’s the only PG I’d be okay with Orlando adding. Dude is basically Jrue Holiday, by far the best perimeter defender in the draft, at least on guards. Good playmaker, solid scoring, awesome motor. He’d also be a contingency plan to Cole & Suggs depending on how things go).
– DEREK LIVELY (Defensive stalwart. Would have a bonafide 7 footer with length to back up WCJ, but with an actual motor and passion unlike Bamba. I really enjoyed Bitazde & Moe’s minutes, so I’d lean a scoring guard like Keyonte George or Jordan Hawkins, but especially Gradey Dick).
If they keep the 2nd round pick:
– Tristan Vukcevic (kid can be really, really good with the right coaching staff).
– Emoni Bates (I’d take the 2nd round flyer just for the potential alone. I’m sure some other teams are buying the hype, and he could be an asset in the future).
– Jordan Walsh (hyper athletic wing with a high motor on both ends. Insane 7’3” wingspan).
Amari Bailey (if they want another all-around, score first guard in reserve but with more size and bit more athleticism than Cole).
