I would rather have THJ, but I think the pacers trading us TJ and 27 for JC makes more sense for both sides

It has not been discussed by anyone other than these trash websites.

This is probably one of the better deals you’ll get from trading JC nowadays. Bad cheaper contract and a trade up into a lottery pick which we kinda need tbh. He’s a 13 PPG player getting paid 25Ms per year for the next 3 years. Most teams only gonna take him if it’s a bad contract trade-off.

Read the article guys. He literally says at the end that this proposal never got anywhere.

I’m not doing this deal unless Snyder approves

  6. Bertans sucks but Quin is the type of coach who could make him useful. Bad contract but it’s better than JC’s. Might mean JJ starts. Plus draft equity. This is a good trade, as much as I love JC.

If Snyder is planning on bey and JJ to get more minutes at the 4 we have literally no need to keep Collins, especially considering his mediocre season. Get rid of his contract and a number 10 pick? Sign me up!

Hahahahahahaha. The circle of life. The trade would give JC a reset and he would be playing with the guy that he would have been playing with here had we not traded for Trea.

outside of just the awful 3pt shooting this season (hopefully/likely an aberration), is it just possible that jc’s worsening production was at least partly just playing under nates system, not just the incapability with cc? jc seems to be a system player cause he cant really create on his own, so maybe under snyder there could be a genuine improvement.

while this trade is not that bad considering the cap situation and jc’s current value, in order for us to have any realistic chance of contending in the future we need to take a risk on some players/assets. atm the only real player with significant upside/downside is probably jc. at least keep him for the start of the season, and if shit dont work out sell him for peanuts by the trade deadline.
