If you keep Smart(18.5mil), Brogdon(22.5mil) and Gallo who just opted in for 6.8mil. Das 47.8mil. You just might be better off getting Beal for 50mil a year, have him play PG and go for it. So the cap will be the same this year. Browns extension kicks 24-25 season. Tatum eligible for extension after 24-25 season but doesnโt kick in til 25-26. By that time Beals contract would have expire because he only has 3 seasons left on it. I say you do it. If it works, you convince both Brown and Tatum to take paycuts on their extensions because they would have won a chip and get Beal to resign for less as well. I know itโs wishful thinking but thatโs just best case scenario for a trade for Beal to work without severely limiting your team financially.

yeah, Shaq and Kobe didnt like each other, but they won rings. Tatum and Brown play on the same team, but there is very little effect, especially since Brown doesnt make plays, cant dribble, is subpar free throw shooter and very average 3 point shooter and defender. He ain't no "2nd all nba". No, he is not trending upwards. This is uit. Giving a supermax to him is a baaad idea.
