It sucks for the Blazers that the value of that pick fluctuates depending on who the Hornets select.
I’ll believe it when I see it. If Charlotte doesn’t take scoot then maybe but recent reports seem to suggest they’re taking him.
i don’t see masai trading pascal for simons and miller. if scoot went 3rd than maybe but charlotte will select him and that makes the 3rd pick less valuable.

What if we traded Siakam for Simons + basically all of their future FRPs and let them keep the 3rd pick?
Then they could go after another guy with the 3rd pick and we get some (most likely) very valuable pick down the road…

Who can the Blazers trade for using Simons and the 3rd pick to make them better than the Nuggets? Nobody is signing to them in FA or demanding to be traded there. It seems pointless trying to build a contender around Dame in 1 offseason. At this point they should trade Lillard and rebuild.

I could be very wrong, but neither seems like a surefire prospect that you’d skip workouts and interviews for; especially with Miller.
