Jason, I have to say thank you. Thank you because you aren’t just teaching us about the minutia of basketball – these lessons are parallel to life itself. Thank you Jason! Keep up the masterclass – peace brother!
I think Denver not having a good defense is a bit of a mirage. They had a horrible defensive rating to start the season then coasted to end the season. In the middle they had a top 10 defense and in the playoffs they were a top defense
I always root for the smaller market teams that build through the draft. Milwakee, Denver, etc.
I like how worked in how dominant his rec team is
Poole the 19th 2nd rounder For Jalen Duren Bojan
Even if u have 7ft players…I WANT IGUODALA TAKING THE SHOT
Nope I’m out. You’re a shill
Your shot % are going to drop. If you are taller your shot % is easier to maintain. This is important. Also people got sidetracked by Curry and gang for 7 years or so. Now we are getting back on track, but the effect of the Curry dream will be felt for a long time to come. See 2023 Heat for starters 🙂
In basketball, all can be taught, but size, and size does matter in basketball. And when size is coupled with great talent, that is a winning combo. Add all those things you listed in the video with size, and you've got a team capable of great things.
And one other thing. Bruce Brown, DLo and Jamal Murray are all listed at 193 cm which is between 6'3" and 6'4" . 😉
This probably not a guaranteed fact, but good drafting, player development, and patience with your leadership /management as an honorable mention. 😊
great pod jason!

I love your content and agree with 99% of the stuff u say and probably you are the reason I understand basketball better than i used to but in what universe bubble lebron is better than Giannis in 2021? Like in my opinion in the past 4 years lebron is the worst of those fmvps not that i mean giannis is better than lebron overall but if you’re comparing him to that season based on his dominance I really think giannis was better defensively and could score easily
Good stuff
Its been this way for a while, but regular season wins can be vastly overrated at times. So many veteran laden teams coast through the season and give minimal effort, prioritizing health at the end of the season, like Miami. Denver is a young team, but even they kinda shut it down towards the end of the season to preserve the health of their best players. You made an excellent point about the Bucks struggles in the halfcourt and Giannis' limitations, which is why the constant slurping of them by the national media befuddles me. They played horrible halfcourt basketball in their title year and got really lucky with Kyrie's injury. I don't think they're a real title contender and are missing a couple of pieces on offense. Giannis also has to be better. His game is made to rack up wins in the regular season, but against a smart, talented team his liabilities are too glaring, and will be taken advantage of.
But anyways, I appreciate your love and analysis of the game, even when I disagree. You're only going to get better so keep grinding that tape and working at your craft.
I play in a 40 and up….and still play with an idiot. 😂
You bring it every time, Jason. Thank you for sharing your basketball knowledge, understanding and perspective. I love it.
Ngl Jason, but your voice is really soothing lol. I wait before I go to sleep to watch your videos. It's a compliment 😂
All 10 are just:
"Be great at basketball"
Aaron GORDON WAS THE DIFFERENCE.he’s tall, strong .cut,jump.can score and can defense, can pass.he was huge this series win .
woahhhhh that was definitely the first time jason has ever said ‘fucking’ you can tell that mf HATES losing just in how he said that
as someone who supports phoenix this list has me very worried about our chances next year lmao
The Nuggs 3 are all drafted like Warriors are. Roll players and free agents around them.. No super team mentality. I hope 3 or 4 titles as well 😊
Not to belittle the champs but Minnesotas run was better…. Someone said. 🤣
When I look back at the 2016 Warriors losing to the Cavs in 7 the obvious is to think of being deprived of their toughest hate losing do everything dog Draymond for game 5. What slips through the cracks in that game 5 is they lost their starting center A Bogut for the rest of the series. This deprived Kerr and the Warriors of several of these top 10 traights: Size, strength and versatility. The death line up is fine and dandy but at times you need to just through some size and strength at the opponent. Kerr lost that versatility for the remainder of that series once Bogut was out.
