I don’t know if he’s the worst currently, but he’s always been bad on pull ups. That isn’t part of his repertoire and likely will never be.

This isn’t part of Rj’s game though. Idk if the stats are true or how many attempts etc, but Rj isn’t really a pull up from mid range guy. That’s why I always thought the derozan comps weren’t good for him. He has other ways to score

I believe it. He was better last year, however, especially in the playoffs.

Yeah, this isn’t too surprising tbh.

I do have faith that RJ can eventually be a reliable outside shooter, but really only as a catch and shoot guy. Some guys just need to have their feet set when they shoot 3’s, some guys it matters less.

All we need RJ to do is shoot league average from 3, I don’t really care if he ever develops a pull up J tbh.

Should of traded him for Donovan Mitchell.

  6. Yes I’d recommend watching the Knicks film school pod cap or no cap with RJ. They deep dive into RJ stats and he is by far one of the worst starting players in the nba even with him playing better in the playoffs. His efficiency and shooting stats all dropped this past season.

I don’t care tbh, his playoff performance was good. Sure he was bad during the season but he stepped it up when Randle was injured and I respect RJ a lot more now I agree he’s only 23 he has such a high ceiling and will win a ring here

Pull up jumpers inst his game. I believe it was Paul George that said it took him a few seasons to figure out his game and one day he flipped a switch and never looked back. I want to believe that rj flipped a switch in the post season
