He's already a top 10 guy regardless of whether or not he can consistently replicate this seasons performances in the future. For one reason. He has effectively forced other teams and players to rethink the idea of positional roles. By having so many competencies that allow him to nullify any defensive setup by being at the centre of attention and still integrating his teammates or punishing teams himself so effectively. His talent sets a new bar in the modern game. An evolutionary leap. And he's not done yet.

On my all-time list of centers, he’s only behind Kareem, Hakeem, Wilt, Shaq, prime Sabonis, and Bill Russell. He’s just ahead of Moses Malone.
Jokic started with water polo. Have a look at the ball handling skills that they train the youngsters in polo and you'll understand his passing. His deft touch and lack of jumping is because of his huge frame. Not jumping helps him score. Slowing down helps him think and his slow pace will mean that he can play for as long as he likes in games and years. He just broke the NBA.

Whether Joker will end up being one of the GOAT or the GOAT Big at the end of his career. Even if he has another 6 seasons like this one it will always be up for debate, top 10, top 5 etc…… However, does he have the ability to change the game forever……I believe he does and VERY few players can say that about their careers. It's too early to start calling the Nuggs a dynasty. Jamaal being injured a year ago directly led to many more regular season losses (and them eventually succumbing to my Dubs in the first round of the playoffs). My predictions for the 2023 playoffs included Denver being the best team, but the scriptwriters giving the title to Boston. So am glad that didn't happen!
