He doesn't truly believe it, he is doing it for contraversy and clicks, that's the problem these days. Newscasters and sports writers don't write or say stuff because they believe it, they do it for clicks because that's how they get paid.
But it's not their fault they didn't play anybody. First round Timberwolves, did anyone think the Timberwolves would beat them? Second round Suns, maybe, if the Suns had a bench & didn't rely on Booker & Durant all the time. Now the conference finals, the Lakers never had a real shot & if you thought so you were fooling yourself. Is it the Nuggets' fault that the Bucks lost or the 76ers or the Celtics, no it's not. You play the team that WON their right to get there. Maybe the N.B.A. needs to do away with the conferences & just have the best 16 teams. Jokic does have IT, A CHAMPIONSHIP is what IT'S CALLED & that's all that matters.
I haven't watched the NBA in years. Because it seems to be selfish basketball. I watched this year. To see a real unselfish team? Just awesome. And a real reason Miami got buried.

If I am emotionally invested. I have to put myself in time out. I am also a general NBA fan so eventually I can be objective. But I wonder if others possess the same restraint.

I never knock any team winning a ring or championship even if I don’t like the team. Besides that I don’t think Denver cares if your trying to make their championship not as good as hole different sport Basketball and Football are to very different sports nor is there championships the same
It's clear, those who spoke out against Jokic because he isn't the loud mouth, obnoxious, spot light has to be on him type of player like LeBron James, Allen Iverson and others, he let's his action on the court show his talent and ability.

I’m admittedly a bit biased, I’m a Colorado resident and a lifelong Nuggets fan, but the didn’t go through anyone?!? Firstly to get the top seed in the west, they had to win over everyone. Then they beat KAT, Edwards, and a repeated defensive player of the year, Gobbert. Then they had to beat some no name named Kevin Durant! Along with Booker. Then they swept a little team no one has ever heard of The Lakers. Lead by some guy named LeBron and his sidekick, what’s his name? Oh that’s right, Anthony Davis. So this take was spot on, the Nuggets beat a bunch of nobodies.

The Nuggets earned this championship. Everyone was against them including me. When they swept LeBron & the Lakers which was a beautiful moment b/c I do not like LeBron, I became a believer. The Nuggets were a real team hungry for that championship & they did it convincingly. A lot of people in sports media lack credibility & objectivity. They're more like cheerleaders especially when it comes to LeBron. I honestly believe a lot of people are upset at the Nuggets winning b/c they swept LeBron & they just can't accept that fact.
The Nuggets owner is the worst franchise owner in all of sports. It is possible to like the players but loath the owner. Both things can be true.

Ok1. what these Idiot fell to realize "They were the "1" team all season long" !!! and nobody cared !! So if they were kicking teams asses all season long what make you think these dudes were not going to do this in the "Playoffs"!!! 2. They went through the best teams that were left in the league !!! The all world Lakers didn't win a single Fucking Game!!! And they were suppose to have the "Best Player on the Planet" !! The whole reason why they were not challenged is because Jokic and Murray played unbelievably well. They're advanced metrics were off the chart and there defense was pretty damn good and jokic played the best defense of his career. Listing to actual basketball brains like John Hollinger, Nate Duncan, Danny Leroux, or Ben Taylor will tell you Jokic was unbelievable.

No one wanted Secretariat at first! Bart Star was picked last in the draft by Green Bay! There are a hundred stories. This sportscaster would not know "it" if "it " bite him on his Winnie!
