Just don’t trade for him and it’s all good

If he’s bought out, it makes too much sense for both sides.

I think these reports though are geared towards Washington trying to get either LAC or LAL to give up assets to get him.

Edit- also pay attention to who is saying what in the media. Might give you an idea of who is getting what info.

Just what we need, more injury prone players.

It seems like the Wizards would prefer to trade him if he prefers to play for a contender rather than waiving him. I don’t see how the FO makes this happen unless they’re willing to trade Beasley and Bamba for him. I could see the Wizards being willing to do it.

As long as it’s a vet min or BAE, I’m totally down for it

A PG and a backup C were our main needs last playoffs so it makes sense.

So after a rare, actually creative trade at the deadline, Rob is back to taking scraps off the table again for an old guy who is often injured? That’s plan A?

God damnit. Can’t wait to see Lebron, AD, and CP3 all sitting out cuz of injury. Going to be another post-all star season if this happens.

He has it pretty good…either getting 30M 2 go to the Clips or going to the Lakes and still seeing his son in hs

  10. Should be a Plan B at best, because the guy is so damn injury prone. I like CP, but they gotta keep the younger roster intact.

With Lebron putting out that he wants Kyrie or other players, getting Chris Paul on a minimum seems like a way to placate Lebron’s wishes.

My concern here is that Chris Paul is 38. He’s great. Of course. But to say he is at the end of his career is putting it mildly. I just don’t see Chris Paul being the draw that he was years ago. If we are able to grab him, great. Let’s see how it goes, but I hope we don’t trade away any of our young talent to try to make that happen.

  13. If he’s coming off the bench, then sure sign him.
