Both Thompson’s would be so sweet but Ausar will be gone before 10. Maybe 4 and 10 can help move us to 2?
Who would we be looking at with the 10th pick?
This would presumably involve the Mavs getting off of Bertans’ salary and the Rockets add KJ or Tate to give them a cheap rotation player who can help this year. And perhaps future lesser draft value.
I would still put it as a long shot because other teams are also in on the pick and may outbid us, and it will require the right player to fall to 10 for the Rockets to pull the trigger.

Amen and Dereck Lively would be an absolutely incredible draft if we were to land 10 from the Mavs.

Casan Wallace, Grady dick, lively, hood- schifino, kobe bufkin… I’d be thrilled with any of them at 10. Even more thrilled if 4 and 10 get us into top 3. It would be a great move.

Who are they targeting at #10? Black or Lively? Or they think Whitmore would fall to #10?

I doubt we stay with 4 and 10 if we complete the trade.
No way we have vet PG, Green, KPJ, Tari, Jabari, Alpe, new center, 4 and 10, with legitimately 5 to 6 of them being high value projects each hurting the others by virtue of being on the roster.
Gradey Dick would be a great piece to add. Dude is a winner.
Look for us to give up KMJ most likely if we have to give up a player of value.
KPJ has a lot more value due to his contract being so team friendly and being able to be used as a salary match if a star wants to be trade this year or next, so I’d avoid using him in this trade.
