I didn’t think he was gonna leave especially their wasn’t any news him of him too opt out of his contract raptors have too resign Jakob Poeltl after what we traded for him
This means we are not drafting a shooter/sg which is cool if thats the route raps take. It will be a defensive oriented guard pretty much a jack of all trades.
I think Jakob will be here. I think the suggestion he may not is ridiculous. As is quoting lewenberg most days. FVV is basically gone. That’s all the gymnastics needed at this time..

Gary likes Toronto, very good news. Has a lot of potential. Maybe Scooter (and a filler) for Pascal? Fred probably gone. OG is happy if he gets more touches.

How is it surprising he opted in? Nobody had cap space to pay him other then Houston why would he risk getting even less
If Fred does a sign and trade there will be enough money to pay Jak and extend OG and Pascal. Draft Wallace or Bufkin and develop Malachi Dalano and Jeff and Raps will be good for guard depth.
Nice decision for Garry Trent and good for the raptors. Trade FVV to Lakers for Beasly and Mo Bamba and trade Jacob to Mavs or to Celtics

Not mad at the GTJ signing.. 18.5 million is a good price for a player like GTJ who could still improve in the next couple of seasons.
