I like Shake but with his usage he was just too inconsistent.. not sure if that is a Doc thing or a him thing.

  2. SeniorJerk-Alert

Rico would have had shake as MIP. Shame.

  3. vicky255

When Shake was starting for the hospital sixers, he was giving us fringe all star level productivity at high efficiency. He was always capable of getting buckets and I found it bizarre Doc wouldnt give him a run when we had 5 minute stretches in the playoff with no field goals. Hes going to thrive with more minutes in another team and we’re going to look back at this as another mistake.

If Memphis does trade Tyus Jones then I think Shake would be a great fit there

Bummed to see a homegrown late round talent leave but there’s not a clear path here for minutes. Hope he balls out wherever he ends up!

  6. PearkerJK12

Here before he gets signed by the Heat and averages 20 ppg

  7. hoagieclu

can’t blame him for wanting a bigger role. hope he can find steady minutes elsewhere

  8. amenacingballsack

Now give Springer a crack at the rotation instead of signing a corpse next week

  9. CMDaccounting

Man watch shake go and avg like 17-20 ppg on a tanking/ non title contender team. Wish we can keep him

  10. thesixersdontexist

yeah, let’s get rid of our only backup pg. that’s always worked well in the past

  11. BabaBrody

Can’t be mad at this for a second, he deserves it. I think he’d be great for Memphis, especially if they really want to let Tyus Jones move on before the start of the year and Ja can’t get the suspension lightened.

  12. TheGreenLandEffect

Really think he will do well with consistent minutes and a full season of good health.

  13. throwawayjoeyboots

Thank you god. Been ready to move on from the Shake experiment for years.

Getting rid of these clowns that have caused us to consistently have one of the worst bench’s of the playoffs teams like Korkmaz and Milton is the beginning of a new era.

He can go put up 14ppg on a tanking team like OKC or something.

  14. In before shake has a hot run for 4 games in December. Leading to a bunch of pissy posts asking how we could let him go

  15. Skullripper675

Like the guy alot. He’ll expectedly the bag somewhere else, but low-key shake was one of my favorite players. I’ll miss him

  16. alexaustinv

Predictable but still makes me sad nonetheless, love Shake whenever he actually gets a chance

  17. imdumbfrman

Good for him. He’ll get solid minutes he probably wouldn’t have gotten here. Nothing but the best!

  18. TrustDaFriendship

Fuck Doc for not ever wanting to play Shake.

This makes me so sad, man. I was always a believer that he could put it together, but it’s impossible to produce if you never even get a chance.

  19. JiveTurkey92

man when he started off on that huge 3 point shooting streak.. fun times. Think it was against Doc too lmao. He’s a great player and i have a couple of his jerseys amazingly, good luck shake

  20. TomassoLP

No hard feelings, wish him nothing but success.

  21. Myrese_Taxey

obviously, he’s too good to not play. We don’t have a rotation spot for him but a lot of teams will.

  22. autimaton

I like Shake and think we could carve out a good role for him depending on how the Harden situation plays out.

  23. Fowlplay92-

Way too inconsistent to get important minutes on this team

  24. ZarakiBankai

Definitely going to be the Isaiah Joe of next year. Can’t wait to see his stat line after every game. That said, I like his game, I’ll be rooting for him

  25. TerminallyTrill

He just couldn’t get it going without building a rhythm from consistent minutes.

Hard type of player to sort because he’s at his best when he has big minutes but isn’t good enough to get big minutes on most teams. I’ll be watching his journey for sure

  26. Iworkatburgerking-

i have zero idea why but i have a soft spot for him it’s sad to see him leave
