    What is team friendly?

    2/60 mill?

    3/75 mill?

Or is it โ€œteam friendlyโ€ where itโ€™s like 3/135 mill?

Is โ€œteam friendlyโ€ what you say to save face when you canโ€™t get the deal you think youโ€™re worth?

  3. WraithTwelve

I’m hoping this means a two year deal.

Only thing team friendly in my mind is a 1 year deal.

  5. The only team friendly deal is a 2 year deal.

    2/120 > 3/100

Hopefully he doesn’t mail it in since he didn’t get the contract he wanted

I really feel like this team with Nurse and Tobias flipped for a better role player or two can really compete for a championship.

What about that totally real Houston max?

  9. If this is true he is probably gonna take the most money he can while still letting Morey have some maneuverability like last off-season. That would be really good for the team.

  10. Why everyone hoping for a 2 year instead of 3? iโ€™m genuinely curious bc iโ€™m not really in touch with salary cap gymnastics

2 years is the only way this works out to be team friendly

I still donโ€™t want him back, idc what that means for our future. Itโ€™s hard to watch him dribble the shot clock out every possession. Regardless of the coach, this is who Harden has always been. We arenโ€™t going anywhere with him

    Yeahโ€ฆ I hate a 20+/10+ player too. Iโ€™d rather pay 15 mil to a 6/3/4 player.

Anything more than 3 for 100 would be an absolute disaster

Calling it now, less money than normal in the first 1-2 years then more money than normal in the 3/4th years. Less money for the team before Tobias “leaves.” Unless that’s not how the salary cap works.

Evolutionary version of CP3’s deal. 2 years at a higher number than CP3’s yearly salary so like 70-80 mill. Then one partially guaranteed year and one non-guaranteed year.

Unless he agrees to be paid exclusively in lap dances, I want him the fuck out
