The 2024 1st rounder the Pacers are receiving from DEN is one that DEN just got from OKC, per source. It is the 2024 first that is worst of: Houston (1-4 protected) Utah (1-10 protected) LA Clippers (unprotected) Oklahoma City (unprotected) Pick 40 to IND, 29 + 32 to DEN.

So, hypothetically, if Houston, OKC, Utah, and LA all have a bad season…
Oh shit so Denver isn’t in there. That could be low 20s. Alright then.
Edit: corroborated by Scott. Very even trade
ok so this seems like a really good trade now
So if the 1-4 next year is Houston, Utah, LA and OKC then the pacers get the 4th pick?
Bobby marks and Woj are saying something different? Is this guy trustworthy?
This is the opposite of how ESPN and Woj reported this. Much better return
So we just have to wish for the worst on all 4 of those teams.
So I’m pretty unfamiliar with the NBA. Does this mean if, in the 2024 NBA draft, Houston had the 5th pick, Utah 11, OKC 15, and Clippers 25, the Pacers would get the 25th pick?
I like this move a lot. It provides an asset for next year that has the potential to be a late lottery pick or the 5th pick if HOU gets DET luck.
its fine ig
So it’s better than we thought but it’s still just kinda “meh”
OKC winning the title so that’ll be last pick
Presumably due dilligence was done, but I would have liked this pick to be further in the future, 27/28. It would give us more flexibility to trade our own picks if we ever decide that is a route to take.
Damn, wasn’t sure at first but this seems like a decent gamble to get a top 20 pick.
i like this deal a good bit, it’s the type of consolidating assets for a better pick we expected just in an unexpected way haha i also assume they think they can get the 2nd round guy they’re targeting at 40 anyway which is why they were fine moving 32.
a move i would expect to happen still is selling off the 55th pick
This trade is totally lame.
Embarrassing by woj and marks
