How does the roster work with Harden, Van Vleet, and Maxey. Defense does not sound too promising in that scenario

Van Vleet and Maxey backcourt makes little sense. Extremely small.
Article also says Sacramento could be leading candidate to trade for Harris. They could just be guessing however.
FVV fits perfectly on this team. He’s soft and look how bad he plays against the Celtics…
So harden leaves, we get Fred, and the Celtics end up with porzingis. Might as well just sim the entire season at that point
I would assume in that scenario Maxey/Harris get moved for something because a backcourt of Fred and Maxey would be brutal defensively.

I don’t think there is a chance in hell that we’d go after FVV if Harden leaves. That’s a mess of a backcourt and we’re no longer a contender. If Harden leaves, someone that’s better and a better fit than FVV will be available, so there’s no way Morey snags him up right away.
FVV is not good. His shooting splits are awful, he’s small and he’s a defensive liability. Please do not sign him
