The cards probably represent the team roster before the 1994 off-season.
Some remarks:
– Lakers drafted Eddie Jones in the 94 draft, and obtained Cedric Ceballos before the season started.
– James Worthy retired, and Lakers traded away Doug Christie before the season started as well.
– Despite having no superstar, the decent core of Nick Van Excel, Vlade Divac, Elden Campbell, Eddie Jones and Ceballos managed to get 5th seed in the West.

How much do you think this is worth?

Keep forgetting Worthy was still playing into the mid 1990s (this was his last year as a Laker before retiring).

My first memories as a Lakers fan are from this team

Right around the time I became a fan. I really wish they never went away from these unis.

George Lynch sucked ass for being the 12th pick in the draft.

I’m reading three ring circus and the author goes in to detail about this team. Crazy insight

Nice! IIRC, I have the Elden, Christie, Vlade, Lynch, Peeler, Van Exel, and Worthy ones. I have no idea where my cards are, but I do have a folder specifically for Lakers (sorted by player).

I was only 5 at the time, but bitch ass Christie was a Laker? TIL

I always thought Nick Van Exel was so cool. I wouldn’t mind getting his throwback jersey if they make one.

Here I am thinkin I knew my squad in the 90’s. Had NO idea Doug Christie was on the Lakers

Those were some dark times post Magic and Pre-Shaquille/Kobe. I still watched the games but it sucked knowing we were a second tier team.

Dam was Eddie Jones not on this squad at this time?? I’m misremembering bad
