  1. Celtics need to still Tyus Jones and have a point guard that can set the table and play turnover free .

  2. If the Celtics get a healthy KP the whole season then that’s some scary offensive depth

  3. Jaylen brown and Tatum don’t work well together that’s Boston issue both inconsistent

  4. The fact that other teams didn’t wanna wait for the Clippers docs to do a full analysis?!? Isn’t that what they been doing since they got Kawhi and PG???

  5. There was a key phrase here. “Every bad team has a leading scorer & best player”. This phrase is why I’m hesitant about this trade. As far as the picks, great move. I guess I just expected to see Boston address different issues. In their last two playoff exists a major issue was not having someone to create for Tatum & Brown, which resulted in turnovers. Now they bring in a 7 footer that at times plays like he’s 6’4, retain a guard they wanted to trade, and trade a guard they wanted to retain, who was also the one that set the culture for the team.

  6. I really don't understand what porzigis brings that Celtics already didn't have. They already had scoring, the problem is with Brown and Tatum they don't show up. Blaming smart and others is easy way out.

  7. Shut the fk up about the two first round picks. I’m a Celtics fan. The picks were both late first round which is basically second round. They are USELESS. Marcus smart is IRREPLACEABLE. Porzingis is a soft statpadder who has won NOTHING. Boston won’t sniff a title without smart. His playmaking, iq, drive, Leadership, defense, heart. The team will be devastated too.

  8. The issue is they still need a actual PG. Their issue in the finals was a lack of playmaking and too many turnovers. This year in the playoffs against Miami too many turnovers no control of the offense.

  9. Giannis is a super saiyan. He keeps getting better. When healthy, Boston can see them, even with KP. They could use a Middleton upgrade bc he’s not worth the money.

  10. not necessarily. both Tatum and Brown are ball-dominant wing players — i doubt that Porzingis will be content standing around the perimeter and in the corners waiting to be a spot-up shooter, just like he was in Dallas playing alongside Doncic!

  11. Low key glad the Smart experiment is over. Sometimes we get too sentimental cos Boston already has so many sports heroes. Idc who's playing, just raise #18

  12. Ja's eyes should be opened for how treacherous an judgmental the most flawed people are.

  13. Trade is still weird in my mind, Memphis needed help on offense mainly in the half court and smart doesn’t help that, wizards having a fire sale and can’t get a first round pick to save their lives, but Boston gets a player that can help them not have to go iso ball every play and stretch the floor more with two bugs still, how do they get away with this

  14. Yes I love smart but it was evident JB & JT had to do toooo much offensively in the playoffs. This was a move I seen coming way before a jb trade . Smart , d white , or brogdan was finna go

  15. I don't understand why people think this is great for the C. Pozingis proven over the years that he is just tall 3 point shooter, and not an exceptional one neither. This basically is a lessen but younger Horford, which doesn't change how they play. Horford wasn't the problem in the playoff!

  16. Jason Williams is High calling the Celtics the favorites, I like Kristraps Porzingis but until he proves he can stay healthy and play championship ball, I'm not buying the Celtics as favorites

  17. I wouldnt give up a rock solid leader like smart for a notorious flake like porzingis in spite of the talent discrepancy

  18. Yes smart was a leader for the Celtics but he was also an offensive liability. If it was 1 for 1 I wouldn’t have done this but the 2 first round picks are enoufh

  19. why ESPN give Marcus smart more respect than actual championship players. he got zero championship experience or DNA. He just flops and cant play real defense or else boston wouldnt have traded him.

  20. Im more interested in 2025 when porzingis and jalen brown contract is up. Thats when the fun starts
