-Strongest intel on Fred is that Houston has him very high on their free agent board and if Harden stays in Philly… the way it was described to him is that Fred would be next on their board
-What we see in this draft, that can change things for both parties
-Fred is higher on Houston’s board than Kyrie
-Raptors haven’t shown a willingness to trade OG, but only would trade him at a price Masai would do
-All the signals are Pascal wants a max deal, most he’s eligible for is 4/192
-There will be a strong market for Poeltl
-He wants a deal in the 20 million range annually
-Keep your eye on San Antonio for him
-There is this school of thought they want this true C that can make Wemby’s job easier

Lmao if Poeltl goes back to SA this sub needs to shut down

Imagine we trade a first round pick for a rental only for the rental to return to the original team. All time worst season potential is increasing.

How hilarious would that be where we make a trade to get Jakob, only for him to go back to San Antonio with the picks we traded to get him

If Poeltl goes back to the Spurs, game over for this FO

Insiders saying Poeltl might not want to sign for a rebuilding team if the Raptors go that direction then the next day another insider says the Spurs are going after him despite being a rebuilding team 😂
Really just sounds like a nothing burger and trying to create discussions out of nothing due to how relatively weak this free agency pool is.

probably in the minority but I do not want raps to pay Siakam the max

It would be a bad look for both Jak and the Spurs if that happens. Not saying it’s against the rules, but I think it’s one of those unspoken rules where it becomes a grey area.

Honestly trading someone for picks and then re-signing them is something that should happen so much more often in sports.

IIRC, isn’t there a rule that prevents teams from re-signing players that they just traded away?
