I expect LA wants RJ and we don’t want to trade RJ for PG and it ended there
Thank fuck.
I hate when these guys pull this. “Things can change” – of course they can, but you’re hedging your bet so you can avoid being ‘wrong’. Just say what your source said if you believe it, if not then don’t post.
ANY of us can speculate. Bondy said zero with this useless tweet.
Also, Begley is lightyears ahead of Bondy in regards to sources and being correct.
Bondy thrives off negativity
I think the most likely scenario is that we run it back just with better shooting.
PG is a great player but the reality is his actual value with injury risk, age, and contract with the new CBA is probably much lower than what the Clippers hope.
And the cost for the Knicks to get him is also much higher than the Knicks want to do ie depleting our depth.
So unless the clippers lower asking price to mainly a draft heavy return and lower value guy it probably doesn’t happen
PG probably is the best fit out of all the stars reportedly available
I think price was too big for player with injury history and 33 years old and he would want new long term contract
with NBA trades, where there’s smoke, there’s no fire. I think it says more about what we’re not seeing reported. As far as I can tell after years of being connected, we haven’t heard much about Towns or Lavine on the knicks front other than gossip blogs. Think there could be something there.
