Obligatory wild draft day trade that absolutely will not happen under any circumstances but a man can dream.

    This was just for fun. I love our team now, but after hearing the Allen was being shopped I couldn’t help myself and went onto the good ol’ trade machine to make something happen that would only benefit the Cavs in an absolute dream trade.

    Probably unfair on one of the Pacers/Pelicans, but I did verify if it was good with a Hawks friend of mine, so who knows? Each to their own.

    Ingram & Turner for Allen, filler, & a couple 2nds😂

    As to why everyone would do it, firstly;

    Cavs: We get Brandon Ingram. That should suffice but in case it doesn’t, it fills by far the biggest hole on the team on the wing. TJ is a phenomenal guard to have off the bench, and let’s bring Larry home, another great forward bench piece that can also play some minutes at C. And of course, Myles will be our Allen replacement. When looking at FA’s, I decided we should resign Osman for depth, and add Richardson as yet another bench guy who can score,, and has good enough size to cover the SG/SF position.

    Pelicans: A sign and trade to get LeVert on a cheap enough deal, along with Jarrett Allen to pair alongside Zion, a defensive king, and a first round pick this year? Perhaps i’m being too optimistic, but I don’t see why the Pelicans wouldn’t do it, if they want to continue rebuilding around Zion. Lol. Sam Merrill is just there to get off another contract and bring some balance. Getting off Valanciunas and upgrading to get Allen with LeVert who can come off the bench or start at SF in replacement for Ingram makes sense to me, although I have no doubts Pelicans fans wouldn’t like the idea of giving up BI. And who could blame them really?

    Pacers: Might be the most hard done by? Maybe? I tried fixing and balancing the Pels and Pacers about 5 times and this was the best I came up with. Valanciunas is on an expiring contract, and they receive 2 2nds, one next year and pick #49 from us this year. Rubio is a good veteran for their young guys, and Dean Wade can provide more depth. The main piece here is Ice. A young, and frankly great defensive player who can start alongside Haliburton and really kick off Indianas focus on development.

    So, those are my biased decisions as to why each team does it lol.
