I'd trade Pascal for Murry AG and kobe. Two more guards who fit better to replace fred plus another promising young wing player. Then get some sort of return for Fred in a sign and trade.

The pascal news is good news for some fans but I don’t think it’s actually good for the Raptors. Just imagine if Demar pulled this 🤔 There would be no Kawhi trade and no championship. If a superstar comes on the market right now and Masai wanted to move he wouldn’t be able to move with pascal’s agent putting this out there. People that think this good will be singing a different tune if the Raptors are struggling next season and can’t move Pascal.
Can we at least appreciate players that WANT to stay in Toronto. There's this overall consensus that NBA players aren't attracted to Toronto or don't want to stay because we're Canadian. We need to take better care and understanding of players willing to stay with the franchise. Pascal wants to play for the Raptors, not the other 29 teams.
Look, I love the fact that Pascal wants to be here but putting that out into the world, not keeping it in house makes it that much more difficult for the front office to even explore potential trade packages, and let’s face it something needs to change within the roster in order to get back on the road to contention. Now as for Fred, a sign and trade would be cool but sign and trades typically don’t yield much so there isn’t much to get excited about so that return isn’t crazy. We’ve wanted Patrick Williams for a while and while Lonzo’s career COULD be on a serious decline with his latest injury it’s not a guarantee and we’d only be looking at a max of 2 years of him if that was the case, plus we would be able to apply for a disabled player exception which would better our ability to sign players. Again not perfect but it sure is better than Fred walking for free.

What it means he does not want to be traded this year – But after this season he will want MAX contract and if you don't offer it he will walk to the team he wants to be on

Pascal still has so much untapped potential. He is untouchable in my opinion.

If Siakam makes an all NBA team this coming season, he’s eligible for a 5 year $289 million dollar supermax. So, being in an environment he’s very comfortable in, with players he’s comfortable with, where he’s also the first option, is very much in his best interest. Getting traded now, and having to mesh with new teammates, in a new city, where he’ll likely be the second option, could cost him $100+ mil.
So, it’s not just that he loves Toronto 😂
This is great news that Pascal wants to stay like Gary maybe one of them would be the Groat (maybe this would be Pascal). Trade players who wants to leave which makes more sense.
