I would have lost it had the Jazz taken him at 9 over Hendricks and Wallace. I’m cool with him at 16 though
Sounds like they had Hendricks at 9, Keyonte at 10, and Sensabaugh at 18.
They liked him that much? He’s a really good shot maker. He makes a ton of contested shots. Had we taken him at 9 over Hendricks I would have been so pissed! Bufkin going at 15 was a real dick punch. But maybe we had gone George regardless if they really liked him that much. They must have felt like they hit a homerun with him falling to 16 after the passed and went Hendricks. I keep hearing Brice is a top 10 talent. Is he really that good of a player? What medical concerns does he have? I wonder if a trade could have been made to get the Lakers pick at 17 or trading up from 28 to get Whitmore. I really want to know why teams passed on him.

Really wish we would have gotten a higher pure PG prospect. But interesting that the jazz had him ranked so high.
In terms of playmaking, I see a lot of Donovan in him, which is to say I think it is quite limited and prone to chucking in high pressure situations.
I like Keyonte a lot (he makes really tough shots, which is an underrated premium in the league) but we still really need a floor general. I hope we reach out to Orlando to try and grab one of their young PGs.
