Clippers take Jordan Miller with the 48th pick in the draft. One of the older players in the draft with 5 years of college ball experience BUT every year he’s improved his game on BOTH sides of the ball and continues proving he’s a smart ball player.

I think its a solid pick and it says more about where the front office’s head is at. We’re obviously still in win-now mode considering our picks are going toward experienced youth that can fill in the 5th or 6th bench spot; I thought the idea of trading PG for #3 was ridiculous in the first place and would ultimately be us admitting defeat and giving up on trying to win with Kawhi Leonard (which, again, is insanity). We can look forward to an interesting off season.

Clips taking older rookies instead of younger projects tells me they’re fully committed to the 213 era

  3. This is a good friend of mine, his brothers went to my high school too.

Super fucking glad he got drafted, he’s a great kid and man works his ass off

I actually have some faith we’ll make something out of this guy, we’ve made NBA players out of similar role playing wings like T Mann and Amir Coffey. We even got production from similar G League type guys like CJ Williams in the past. Spot up, move the ball, take good shots, play hard on defense, DO YOUR JOB, we can teach that!

Good luck to Kobe Brown though, every other year we draft a “stretch” big that can’t really play center and we’ve yet to hit once. But maybe like that Arrested Development meme, this time it’ll work for us
