This pick is fine as a role guy but does zero to significantly impact roster holes since I don’t think he gets enough playing time as his Def will give up any points he makes shooting. Unfortunately OKC moved up and got the PG we needed to unlock our team roster, financial future, flexibility and all we did is continue to kick can down the road so 9-10 seed until someone leaves for zero value. There were a couple of PGs moving around the league this week and we could not get one? So the plan is over pay a broken little selfish person? In 4 years one positive move in Scottie is not enough to move up because other teams are getting better.
I really hope the Raptors management know what they're doing because missing out on such a high draft pick can set your franchise back years! My choise would have been the best all around basketball player preferably a ball dominant guard. The Raptors imo need better athletes especially at the guard position someone to guard and compete vs Maxey, T Young and Murray, Ivey, Lamelo, S Henderson…that being said i wish the young men G Dick nothing but success with the Raptors.
Just letting people know we could have had Porzingis and Tyus Jones/3 first round picks for OG Anunoby. It’s pretty apparent other teams don’t want to deal with Webster and Masai. We need a GM who is more charming and savvy. How does Brad Steven get Porzingis and 2 first rounders for bloody Marcus Smart… 🤷🏾♂️
It's sad that in 2023 the media can't even raise they're fu***n voices so that everyone including the audience can hear! The raptors media fail as always to properly include the fans on a simple media conference besides guessing videos and voices.. fkn ass holes
I sure hope this kid doesn't spend much time on Youtube. He's getting roasted pretty hard by our fans. FO and coaching staff scouted him and spent time with him. I'll give the Raptors the benefit of the doubt, until proven otherwise. Anyway, what's done is done. Let's give this kid a shot and see what our new coaches can do with him. In any case, I'm still excited and hopeful for next season. Go Raps!!!
