Liked what we got in the draft. Not really seeing him as a power forward. But then again I grew up watching guys like Barkley, Karl Malone, Shawn Kemp, Derrick Coleman. A power forward actually played with power inside and could score, rebound defend and draw fouls inside. But this is the new nba and most bigs are soft finesse players wanting to be shooting guards. Camara is a hidden gem but needs to continue to get stronger and improve his ball handling and overall passing. Defensively he plays hard and with energy. Is fairly athletic and does have higher upside than people realize. We needed some perimeter defense,shooting and rebounding. We got that with Jordan and toumani. Now we need a starting caliber pass first pointguard ( not cam payne) that can take playmaker pressure off Beal and booker. A big, tough intimidator inside that can play jokic physical which actually takes him out of his rhythm at times and some other shooters off the bench. Some free agents I like are: Andre iguodala,shake milton,Naz reid,willy hernangomez,yuta watanabe,frank ntilikina,willy cauley-stein, ty Jerome and Mason plumlee.
Actually I think a good comparison for him is any one of these three – Andre roberson, nic batum or Robert horry( without the douchebag attitude).
Seems like a poor mans brandon clarke. Maybe a more mobile ish wainwrite. If he makes the roster he will be asked to pick and pop for 3's.
The issue with Ish is his size. He isnt long but is asked guard bigger guys. If he can develop into even what ish is but have that added length it will should be a win or even the fact of how many open 3s okogie missed ungaurded, having a guy can shoot 40% should be able to contribute. No reason to be down on the choice.
