The #DubNation front office said that Brandin Podziemski has a photographic memory. So I asked him to recap the whole #NBADraft2023 up to his pick. Nailed it.

If true, that is a unique skill. Could be especially helpful as a defender and rebounder as he learns the tendencies of every opponent.

Whatever, I won’t know if he’s a future MVP until they claim he’s fluent in a language he can’t speak a single word of without butchering.

Eidedic or photographic? Either one is incredible but it sounds like he has an Eidedic memory.

Being anal here, but this is a horrible argument for him having photographic memory. He probably interacted with each one of these dudes and teams, so there’s a story to each of the names. Makes memorization much easier. Not saying his memory isn’t exceptional, but this doesn’t move the needle much. I’d expect most normal people in his position to remember everyone but two or three. It would be more impressive if he was the 30th+ pick.

    He’s cracked!!!

Impressive is Tom Brady knowing each QB that got drafted ahead of him, as a 6th rounder.

This isn’t very hard. Just short term memory retention.. you have to remember, this is after months of evaluations, mock drafts, interviews with teams, projecting ranges of where you fall, the teams that are interested in the players and then you’re physically there watching each player get drafted. It’s all very fresh in the head.

He actually didn’t nail it though lol, he got the order slightly wrong. Black went before Coulibaly.
