Better options out there but it is a stale dream of mines to have Rose on the Rockets. Also, feel like he can teach Amen a lot! Given their explosiveness and how Rose overcame his lack of ability to shoot from long-distance using a heavy ball he named ‘Unicorn.’

I would at least consider his presence as a vet but who knows what Rose wants at this stage of his career. Again, there are better vet PG options out there for signing or trade but just sharing my tidbit.
I would love D rose on the team. I’d even over pay on a 2 yr deal let him start. I think he is the perfect vet for the guards on our team. He is iconic to a lot of the younger players in the NBA and I believe they would look up to him.
Pass, dudes washed
Definitely, there are better options out there talent and fit-wise. But D-rose is a consummate pro and a good role model for the young players, for sure. An MVP who, as far as I know, remained humble. A player who didnt give up despite the cards he was dealt with. If he’s willing to play spot minutes, why not? But this signing wouldn’t move the needle too much since he’s not a “playmaker” everyone’s been looking for.
Prob better for the Celtics. Let the youth play
He’s waaay past his prime, obviously, but he wouldn’t be the worst fit. He could impart some knowledge and wisdom to the youngsters, without taking too many minutes away from said youngsters. And it’s not like we’re trying to land the piece that’s going to put us over the top for a ring next season. A guy that can help bring out the potential in our young backcourt is exactly what we need. Could do much worse than a former MVP.
I dont want to take time away from Amen at PG at this point. So as long as Rose (or whomever) is willing to come off the bench, I am okay with it.
Amen is now a Rocket, we have to give him his time to develop so we can make some runs starting in 2+ years.
I guess if there’s no one else to spend money on
Would be a great vet. As soon as I saw the Knicks weren’t keeping him I figured we’d at least consider it. Would be great to have a Rose rockets jersey as well
genuinely would rather have him out there than FVV
