Bilal Coulibaly highlights from his 18yo season – big takeaways are the fluidity, strength finishing through contact, explosiveness, length, sneaky good passing and fast break demon. A knack for putback dunks and swatting shots. Ginobili-esque Eurostep. Elite defensive instincts.

So intrigued by his explosive athleticism. The speed on his first step is insane. I know he needs to bulk up, but I almost don’t want him to sacrifice any speed in exchange for power.
As always, I’m somewhat worried by guys who can’t shoot very well. His percentages from 3 were okay on limited attempts in this most recent season, but the form is kind of awkward and slow. Not really enough to force players to chase over screens and allow him an open lane, but he’s so god damn fast that I don’t think it matters. There are clips where he doesn’t even need a screen to get past his man and he goes from 0 to 100 in an instant. Terrifying.
We’ll have to see how the handle develops and how much he ends up growing. Definitely an interesting first pick by the new front office.
He’s a project.
Decent defender, can move.
Bad shooter, Bad passer
Saw some potential with his handles. Only way I see him panning out is he gets taller and turns into Giannis’ build. Bust.
