Why this post? For those who don’t know:
On March 25, 2021 the Nuggets traded Gary Harris, RJ Hampton and a future first round pick for Aaron Gordon and Gary Clark.
At the time, Hampton was considered to have a good amount of promise as a young player in the league.

Was fun seeing this sub act like he was any good because he gave effort and hustled. We cooked the magic tough.
His legacy will be being part of the AG trade
He’s just quick, nothing else. No shooting, no defense, no playmaking.
Was he really that bad?
Once upon a time the top two picks in that draft were considered to be LaMelo and RJ.
I was hyped when we got him as low as we did, and glad we got trade value out of him. His only shot is getting serious reps in the G or overseas, but it’s slim.
He should team up with Dwight overseas

RJ Hampton’s time in Detroit was legendary…for about 5 minutes.
He should’ve gone to Duke and developed. Instead goes to the nba and gets minimal playing time and rots away.
Let’s hope he doesn’t go down in history as the ‘other guy’ in that trade.
