Here is a link to a strawpoll if you want to answer the question and it will be up for 7 days: [https://strawpoll.com/7rnzm57RdyO](https://strawpoll.com/7rnzm57RdyO)
And down below is a little explanation for this project:
Hello Hawks fans!
I’m a huge sports and statistics fan so I was interested in starting a project where I could keep track of all fans’ perceptions of their team.
Now I know many things can influence a teams success which is why I’m going to collect this information during these pivotal moments of the season.
\-After the Draft
\-The Start of the Season
\-After the Trade Deadline
\- At the start of the playoffs (where hopefully your team will be at the end of this season)
This way we can compare how the front office’s decisions affect the hopes of fan bases as well as player development and injuries.
It will also be fun to see what teams are most hopeful, most accurate, or what teams will be the most shattered by the surprises which sports has in store for us.
I will be gathering up these results in this google sheet so feel free to check it out for yourself if you want to see the results from other fanbases for yourself
If you have any questions or suggestions for this project I hope you let me know and I’m looking forward to seeing a nice civil debate in the comments below 😉
Thank you guys for your participation and best of luck to your team and let’s hope for a low injury season for all!

Jalen Johnson finals MVP is my expectation

#5 seed, and who knows in the playoffs. Hawks definitely underperformed with Nate at the helm. I think most people underestimate what this team can do with a competent coach and some continued development from younger players.
I think we’re going to look pretty similar to last year to start the season then improve as we go through coaching and development. #3/4 seed, then we start our redemption tour Miami in 7 > Milwaukee in 6 > Boston in 5, then we sweep the Suns in the finals and KD finally admits Trae is more valid than he’s ever been
One of AJ/okongwu/JJ is a hall of famer
I definitely expect an adjustment period as everyone acclimates to Quin’s system and learns all the sets/lingo (notably different than a lot of the terminology the rest of the league uses). I am thankful for the period that Quin got to work with the roster at the end of season, because I think that is invaluable in helping to queue up the desired developmental training. This roster is more advanced than the one that Quin inherited in Utah, but they also missed the playoffs the first two seasons with sub-500 records while they adjusted. Not predicting that, just maybe a learning curve – Quin’s strength is his complexity, not just being a player’s coach like Doc (and that’s a good thing for long term results).
I do think that our bench mob will be much better than last year, where they were a major negative until about after the all star break. Bogi being healthy could be a major swing factor in that, along with the development of the young guys.
That said, relative to the rest of the East, our group will probably be facing the most change of the teams who were in the playoffs last season, outside of maybe Philly. May be hard to overtake some of them during the regular season while we’re still adjusting. I put play in team… but we could still well make it to the second round like that!
Nothing has really changed. We’re still a play-in team until further notice.
