Why is no one talking about the Utah Jazz?

I feel like the Jazz have made some crazy moves and have such a bright future yet no one seems to cover them. Just some of my thoughts.

Hope yall enjoyed the vid. Feel like im getting the hang of this.

  1. No one covers them because it’s a smaller market and are currently in the shadow of big teams in the west ie. Nuggets, Lakers, Warriors, Suns

  2. Not going to lie, all jazz fan will be alright because l I was surprised last year they handled the league pretty well. I’m not surprised if they make the playoffs or even compete 😳

  3. As a born and raised Utahing-un I grew up watching Jazz basketball and at the moment its very exciting! We have a bright young head coach the Finisher ,Ochai and blocker Kessler. I almost fell bad for practically robbing the Twolves last off season. Rudy the Goat hair Gobert was a great defense player but i believe former head coach Quin Snyder's defense was designed to funel the ball to the middle where Rudy excelled but now on a different team with a different coach Rudy is finding out that his ego was to a big and to fragile. As someone who cheered for Rudy I hope his 2nd season in Minnesota is better thsn his first because his contract is outrageously big .

  4. U are ABSOLUTELY right About their smaller tank job on the back end of last year's season, but… they eventually shut down J.C., Marrkanen, Sexton trade Conley, and two of the other starters to the Lakers, they were running on basically straight Rook's til the end of the season and the reason they didn't end up with the top three draft this year is because they started off the first 20 games of the season number one in the Western conference shockingly

  5. They were definitely tanking towards the end of the season. They didn't play Lauri in the last games and played the entire bench. Starting 5 for example for one of the last games was: Samanic, Azubuyke, Olynyk, Dunn, and Agbaji. Markkanen is such a bargain for Jazz. He's under contract for 2 more years and you have an All-Star you have to pay only 17M (IIRC) next season.

  6. You're spot on about them tanking a little towards the end. They rested JC and Sexton even tho they weren't really injured.

  7. It’s no bull, as a fan when they shipped off the group right before the trade deadline everyone knew we were trying to stay in the lottery. Even benched Jc and sexton around that time, wanna say we were 6th or 7th in the west. Lauri took time off after the trade deadline as well. They easily could’ve been a playoff team not just play-in👀

  8. Yeah, after the All-Star break, they are trying to think but their players were playing too good haha. They had the G Leage squad out and Will Hardy is such a good coach he was getting them to win haha

  9. We should be a play-in team this year unless we decide to tank again (as next years pick goes to OKC but is top 10 protected). We’ll see! Excited to see this team on the court tho

  10. Nobody is talking about the Jazz because in today’s NBA you want a “Big 3”. You NEED at least a “dynamic duo”, the Jazz don’t even have a legit 1 anymore.

  11. Coming here for my Go-To Basketball research! Think Wemby will meet all the hype behind him? Spurs have had some insane first round picks in the past!

  12. As a Jazz fan because small market, people forgot that the Jazz just tank after the all star break and give away their players, to help Lakers and Wolves to be in the playoffs, If they just perform the whole season the way they started. easily 6th seed in the west.

  13. Man, they just snagged some filthy draft picks too. Now let’s see who sticks around.
