I’m not trying to disrespect this young man. But who the hell is this?
I mean Defense is overrated. Only a handful of top 10 players are good in defense. So many wrong context in his observations. The off ball comment is wrong for the fact that, it is the offense play called by the coaching staff. I was watching his off ball movements in Real Madrid, and he is really great at that.

Aren’t the comments about lack of effort on defense the same thing a lot of MFFLs were saying about Luka last year? Especially when he just took plays off to complain at the refs. Granted, most of the team was terrible to mediocre on defense but Luka was no exception.
I hope Luka takes this personally.
This isn’t anything that everyone on here wasn’t saying all season.

Honestly Luka’s defense gets kinda overblown. He’s not elite by any means but I wouldn’t necessarily call him a burger either. He’s more average if anything. But still calling a 4x All NBA first teamer overrated is humorous
I mean first of all who tf is this nobody lol. Clown behavior talking about a first team all nba player.x But if we’re being honest Lukas effort in defense was abysmal last year. Hopefully he’s a little more engaged this year with hopefully a better roster

I’m not trying to find an excuse for Luka but for a guy who grown up playing under FIBA rules, NBA favors offense way too much.
The only way to play against team USA has always been selfless team basketball. There’re so many great athletes in this league but the rules only allow them to body up so much.
Luka play this way because he’s the primary ball handler.
Dude is literally Euro league MVP at the age of a college student, no way in hell he doesn’t know how to play off ball.

FYI – These aren’t rookies. They are both players for FAU and will be back with FAU this upcoming year. So Luka won’t be seeing them (at least for another year)
